Invention & Design (yrs 3-7)

Children learn about the design thinking process, used by designers to create and innovate new ideas. They use this process to come up with their own brand new invention to solve a problem. They then use provided materials to build a prototype of their invention. Throughout the day they learn about how inventors really work and are encouraged to think outside the box.

Our workshops have an informal and relaxed environment and are limited to a small number of children to maximise teacher support. After each workshop, parents receive detailed feedback on their child's participation, including photos where appropriate.

SECOND TIMERS: If your child has attended this workshop before, you will be required to specify this when purchasing your ticket. The creative nature of our workshops means that children will do new things every time. However we will also make sure to provide new learning and new projects to stretch children who are attending for a second time to build on their existing understanding.

PRICING: All pricing information is available under ticket information.  If you book multiple days you pay less per day.

WRAP-AROUND CARE: You can book in advance for extended hours from 9-5 for a small additional fee.
