Our Global Impact
How we're making a difference beyond the classroom walls
Making a difference in children's lives through STEM education has always been at the heart of what we do at Inventors & Makers.
We've pursued that mission in several ways - offering free resources so that inspiring STEM Heroes reach every classroom regardless of budget; working through schools and nurseries so that parent affordability is never a barrier; delivering online sessions to bring STEM learning to areas that might otherwise miss out; and using simple, reusable and recyclable materials because we believe sustainable engineering should be the norm not the exception.

Now we've taken our impact even further. At the start of 2025 we officially became a business for good by partnering with B1G1.
How It Works

Through our partnership with the global giving initiative B1G1, every time someone signs up for our free resources or books one of our sessions directly with Inventors & Makers Head Office, something great happens in the world.
B1G1's unique giving model means 100% of every contribution goes directly to vetted projects supporting children and families in need across the globe.
We even send individual thank you certificates to schools and nurseries to share with their children - because we believe children should know that their curiosity and creativity is making a real difference in the world.
Impacts from Our Free Resources
Every time a teacher signs up for STEM Heroes, a giving impact is created. Here's what your sign-ups have helped achieve so far:

All Our Impacts So Far

Our B1G1 giving programme currently applies to sessions booked directly with Inventors & Makers. Our Inventioneer teachers bring the same passion and quality to every session they deliver across the UK — and we hope to extend our giving programme across the whole network in the future.
