Mini Makers: Making & Construction (ages 5-7)

During the morning we work on construction based challenges in small teams. The children are given problems and materials or resources to solve each problem. The groups rotate so children work with a range of different children and we can explicitly work on collaboration skills.

In the afternoon session, we focus on creativity to create and improve upon existing objects. They practice presenting their ideas to others.

The children's constructions and designs can be shared with parents through photos and videos where permission is given.

As always at Inventors & Makers classes, the learning will focus on promoting problem solving, creativity and collaboration, while children take part in engaging activities. We build in plenty of breaks and fun games throughout the day to keep children focussed.

Our classes have an informal and relaxed environment and are limited to a small number of children to maximise teacher support. Our Mini Maker classes have smaller class sizes than our classes for 8-11 year olds. After each class, parents receive detailed feedback on their child's participation, including photos where appropriate.

PRICING: All pricing information is available under ticket information - full price is £59 but discounts are available for friends or siblings booking together or for booking more than one class during the summer.

All tools and equipment are provided for the class price, plus drinks and snacks.

WRAP-AROUND CARE: You can book in advance for extended hours from 9-4 for a small additional fee.
