App Building-2 days (yrs 3-7)

Children start by coming up with their own innovative ideas for an app, working collaboratively in small groups. They then design and build their own clickable prototype of this app using child friendly software and without having to code. In doing so, they think about design and user experience and user test the app to improve their designs. Children's apps will be shared online for parents to see after the class. 

Our workshops have an informal and relaxed environment and are limited to a small number of children to maximise teacher support. After each workshop, parents receive detailed feedback on their child's participation, including photos where appropriate.

SECOND TIMERS: If your child has attended this workshop before, you will be required to specify this when purchasing your ticket. The creative nature of our workshops means that children will do new things every time. However we will also make sure to provide new learning and new projects to stretch children who are attending for a second time to build on their existing understanding.

PRICING: All pricing information is available under ticket information.  If you book this workshop with the Invention & Design workshop the day before, you pay less per day.

WRAP-AROUND CARE: You can book in advance for extended hours from 9-5 for a small additional fee.
