Hi! I'm Katie and I run Inventors & Makers sessions for schools and nurseries in Newcastle and the surrounding area.

I've been a Science teacher for 13 years - specialising in teaching Physics in secondary schools in the North East. I've always loved inspiring children and opening their eyes to the exciting possibilities in STEM. ​
I love the practical and collaborative nature of STEM activities, and seeing the ways different groups of children approach problems and the creative solutions they come up with. I'm passionate about inspiring the next generation to consider a career in STEM!
