About the Event

During most of the morning's session, children will be introduced to the six basic machines and will have a chance to create their own. We will discuss the engineering principles and use of each machine type. The activities will be very hands-on to give children plenty of opportunity to learn from doing.

They will then move on to using what they have learnt to design and build their own simple machines, working in small groups. As they build, they will be required to use engineering principles, problem solving, creativity and collaboration.

As always at Inventors & Makers classes, the learning will focus on promoting problem solving, creativity and collaboration, while children take part in engaging activities.

We'd love to have your child join us at this class to learn new skills and have a whole lot of fun!

All tools and equipment are provided for the class price. Discounts for siblings, bookings of multiple classes, or referrals. All pricing information available on our Pricing & FAQ page.
