App Design 2-Day Camp (Y3-Y6)

Over two 90-minute workshops (Monday - Tuesday 13:30 - 15:00), children learn about app design and design their own simple apps without needing to code. We give plenty of ideas to continue after the class each day if they want to.

A short snack break is included and the workshop is broken up into suitable chunks of learning and fun activities and games in order to keep engagement and focus.

Parents receive an information sheet for every class, including optional activities for children to continue on with after the online class has finished if you want to extend the camp across the day.

Classes are led by a qualified and experienced teacher and pupil numbers are limited.

Tickets can be purchased for one child or for 2 friends or siblings joining together on the same device, Children might like to join the camp with a friend to work collaboratively on the projects.

What you need:

• An iPad or iPhone or Android Tablet or Phone with app installed (app is £2.99 and details will be provided on booking)
• Access to a computer or other device to use Zoom.us and sufficient internet speed to stream video.
• We always ask that you remain nearby to provide any assistance during the class if necessary

Where you have two siblings joining, they may share an phone/tablet or use one each.

This course is designed for beginners and is not suitable for children who have already completed app design with us. They are welcome to come again to design a new app, but should be aware the teaching content will not be new to them.
